Waffles

You do need a Waffle Iron.
This is a passed down recipe to
those who have waffle irons.

3 Tbp. Butter (melted)

1 1/2 Cup Flour

1 1/2 tsp. Baking Powder

Pinch of Salt

2 Tbp. Sugar

1 1/2 Cup Milk

Mix dry ingredients

Add liquid ingredients.

Place 3 to 4 tablespoons of mixture
onto preheated, oiled waffle iron.
cook in waffle iron about 4 to 5 min.
Remove carefully from waffle iron with a fork.

Enjoy with butter and maple syrup, also can be
topped with fruit and whipped cream.

Peanut Butter Old Fashion Delight Brownies

1 box Brownie mix
3 Cups Peanut Butter
1/2 Cup Chocolate syrup
1 Cup Rum Chata
Favorite Frosting

Mix ingredients into brownie mix as directed on box.
Stir in 1 Cup Peanut Butter,Chocolate Syrup and Rum
Chata into batter.
Bake 10 minutes longer than what package call for.
Let cool completely.

Frosting:
Microwave 2 Cups Peanut Butter for a few seconds to soften.
stir into favorite frosting,spread on Brownies.
Optional: top each Brownie square with Bite Size Reese
Peanut Butter Cups cut in half.
Can’t eat just one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Old Fashion Italian Pasta

1 pkg. Mild Italian Sausage,cooked and cut into pieces
1 box cooked Rigonti pasta
2 15 oz. can Diced Tomatoes
with Garlic,Basil,and Green Peppers
1 15oz. can Sliced Black Olives

Mix above ingredients together (except noodles)
Place on top of noodles.

Very good–this does not have the heavy
tomato sauce, only the liquid with the diced
tomatoes is used.

Peanut Butter Balls

I saved this recipe from a friend many years ago.

1 Jar equal to 2 cups Peanut Butter
2 Cups Powdered Sugar
4 Tablesp. Butter or margarine
3 Cups Rice Krispies(or other cereal)

Mix Peanut Butter,Powdered Sugar and Butter together.
Add Rice Krispies and mix with hands.
Form into small balls, size of walnuts
Chill-best when chilled over night
(You may also roll in chopped nut meats and or
Powdered Sugar

Oatmeal Cranberry Cookies

My own—

1 1/4 Cup firmly packed Brown Sugar
3/4 Cup Butter
1 Egg
1/3 Cup Milk
1 1/2 tsp. Vanilla
3 Cups Quick Oats, uncooked
1 Cup Flour
1/2 tsp. Baking Soda
1/2 tsp. Salt
1/4 tsp. Cinnamon
1 Cup Chopped Walnuts

Heat oven to 375. Grease baking sheets
Place Brown Sugar, Butter,Egg,Milk and Vanilla in large bowl
Mix together until until well blended
Combine Oats, Flour, Baking Soda, Salt and Cinnamon
Add to Butter and mix until blended
Stir in Cranberries and walnuts
Drop dough by rounded measuring tsp. 2 inches apart onto
cookie sheets
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until lightly browned
These are a soft chewy cookie
Makes about 4 1/2 dozen cookies

Old Fashion Spaghetti Salad

1 Lb. Pasta (Cooked,drained and cooled)

Diced Cucumber, Red Onion, Fresh Tomatoes,
Black Olives

Cubed Cheese of you Choice

Chunks or small slices of:

Salami,Pepperoni,Ham,Turkey,or Beef

2-3 Tbls. McCormicks Salad Supreme Seasoning

1-8oz. Bottle Italian Dressing

Toss all ingredients together, add seasoning
and dressing last, toss to coat

Refrigerate a few hours or overnight.

Old Fashion Shrimp Pasta Salad From Dar

8 oz. Pasta Noodles
16 Oz. Small Shrimp
2 Roma Tomatoes-cut and seeded
1 Small Cucumber-diced and seeded
Black Olives-sliced
Red Onion or Scallion-diced
Celery-diced
Shredded Cheese-fine
(Cheddar or Parmesean)
Mix these together in a bowl

Making you Dressing-
1 Cup Mayo or Miracle Whip
1/2 Cup Sour Cream
2 tsp. Lemon Juice
2 Tbls. Dijon Mustard
3 tsp. Dried Dill Weed
seasoned Salt
Pepper
Mix dressimg ingredients
Pour as needed over salad

So——–Good.

Mother’s Old Fashion 5 Cup Salad

2 Cans Mandarin Oranges
2 Cans Pineapple (tidbits)
1 Cup Coconut(shredded)
2 Cups Miniature Marshmellows
1/2 Cup Walnuts (chopped)
1/2 Pint Sour Cream

Drain fruit
Mix everything together
Cover
Place in refrigerator for
several hours or overnight.

This serves 5.
(can be made without coconut
and walnuts and is still very
good)

Old Fashion Apple Crisp

Place into a buttered 8×8 pan:

3 Cups apples sliced thin
sprinkle with 1/2 cup sugar and some cinnamon

Cream together in a bowl:

3/4 Cup sugar
6 Tbsp butterApplecrisp
1 egg

Then add: 3/4 cup flour
pinch of salt

Beat together then spread over apples so it
almost covers them.
Bake at 350 for about 30 minutes or more
for a light brown top crust.

Passed down thru friends and family, this
is enjoyed by itself or with whipped cream
cool whip or ice cream.
